Mike Shaheen is the founder and creator of Munchies with Mike (Instagram, Facebook and YouTube), a recently registered non-profit organization in Ottawa on a mission to provide wholesome, homemade meals created with love to those that are less fortunate.
It’s interesting to see how this episode is a beautiful segue from last, where Jessie and I explored the concept of dignity being of paramount importance in the lives of those that don’t have consistent access to food and/or housing. Mike continues this deep-dive with me on this episode.
We also examine how instrumental his tribe, meaning family and friends, has been in his life to eventually lead to the fruition of his community project, which is now a non-profit org.
